A college competition. Somerset House set a brief to come up with a way of archiving and promoting exhibitions in the embankment galleries at Somerset House.
I pitched the idea of creating short documentaries to be put on their relatively unused YouTube account. I also created a brand for the YouTube site.
I decided to create a moving image ident to be played before footage on their YouTube site. The ident used existing exhibition graphics and creates a moving image jigsaw effect with the graphics. This allows specific graphic identities to be used for different YouTube videos, but keeping an identity on the YouTube site.
This pitch won the competition.
