Faber & Faber

A series of book covers for a new range of Faber & Faber books on film.

An entry for the D&AD Student Competition.

Each book has a photograph from the film, film poster or associated subject on the cover and then the title die cut out of the paper. On the next page the title is written with the cut out parts of the photograph from the cover. This makes the title hidden and the photograph intact when the book is closed, but when the cover is opened the title is revealed.

I created the typeface specifically for the book cover series.
